Does anyone else see this? Does it seem weird that so many ideas, characters, and incidents from the original TV series Star Trek relate to or foreshadow political people and themes today on The Left? How about the very last episode of Trek, "Turnabout Intruder", where a woman who bears an AMAZING similarity to Hillary Rodham bears a grudge against Captain Kirk for his position of power that she covets. A scientist helps her switch minds with Kirk and she finally has a command. Is this Hillary who cannot achieve her lust for power unless she uses a MAN to do it (first Bill Clinton and now Barack Obama)? Compare both Dr. Janice Lester and Hillary in pantsuits from behind and you will be SHOCKED!

Or how about the episode where Klingons seem to have taken over The Enterprise and the ship races on a heading to take it beyond our galaxy ("Day Of The Dove"). It has actually come under the control of an alien incorporeal entity that feeds off of fear and hate and stirs both the humans and Klingons to escalate their fighting forever. This is sort of the setting we are in now as the entity is Satan and the fighting board pieces are conservatives versus liberals.

Or how about the episode where Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, and Uhura find themselves in a parallel universe ("Mirror, Mirror") where everything is backwards. It is a world of hate, intrigue, assasination, accusation, and fear. Hmm . . . sounds kind of like Communists, socialists, liberals, and/or Democrats today!

How many politicians today can't control their urges to spawn as Mr. Spock couldn't in "Amok Time"? Are conservatives (i.e. our GOOD side) weak indecisive weenies, while liberals (i.e. our BAD side) are slick conquerors as portrayed in "The Enemy Within" when Kirk was split into two by a transporter malfunction?

And later incarnations of the Star Trek world also contain foresight. How about The Borg Collective introduced in the first season of ST: The Next Generation? Are we all now being assimilated? Is all resistence futile? I could go on and on. Feel free to have fun with this yourself. Please keep us all updated on your speculations.

Part 1 -- Lessons Of Leaven

It is time for all Christians and conservatives to leave The Republican Party. It has long been under the control of the Rockefeller Wing, the so-called "Blue-Bloods" who have always been liberal and somewhat socialist. These have always hated the Christian Right and other true conservatives. The "Blue-Bloods" will NEVER cede leadership of The Party to those in The Party that they actually consider to be more of an enemy than they do the Democrats! The "Blue-Bloods" feel an affinity with liberal Democrats and SHOULD move to join them. We have seen this this Spring with Colin Powell and Arlen Specter. Most, though, will stay in The Party as they have a strong need to feel that they are at the head of something. They feel comfortable with the two-winged one-party system. And, they tolerate us (C. and C.s) ONLY because they need our votes every two years.

Our perspective has keep us in this joke-of-a-party for so long because of the fear that we have had no other place to go and that breaking with the Republican Libs would produce "The Unthinkable" -- Communist Party victories for The House, The Senate, The White House, and The Supreme Court. Well, now "The Unthinkable" has happened and it was the Republican Libs who brought it to us!

Jesus said, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees." Leaven, here in His picture, represents sin. He wanted His followers (sheep of the flock) to be unleavened, that is, pure. He went on to say that, "A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough." When you are trying to bake unleavened bread and you accidently spill some yeast (leaven) onto your lump of dough, you don't try to pick out every little speck of the contamination. Rather, you THROW AWAY THE LUMP and START OVER with a new lump! Likewise, our "Lumpy Party" has been contaminated by the "Blue-Bloods" and we must throw it out. We need a new, fresh Party to work with. And, this time, we must take steps to keep it pure. Beware the leaven of the "Blue-Bloods"!
